US/Silver Spring: Sofia Produce, LLC doing business as Trufresh, a Nogales, Arizona establishment, expands its existing recall for multiple batch/lots of Malichita branded Fresh Uncut Cantaloupe Fruit products from the American marketplace to include additional sales order numbers distributed between October 16, 2023 and October 23, 2023.
The original recall was initiated due to suspected Salmonella contamination and consequential risks of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
