The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Sunglasses are subject to this recall:
- Elle Style Sunglasses, model no. KL 8816
According to the ACCC, the Sunglasses do not meet the lens performance requirements of the mandatory Australian safety standard for sunglasses & fashion spectacles. Users may not be sufficiently protected from the sun’s damaging UV rays. Prolonged, continual UV light exposure through non-compliant lenses can cause permanent eye damage.
