UK/London: Lidl Great Britain Limited (“Lidl GB”), a London, England establishment and subsidiary of Lidl of Stiftung & Co KG of Neckarsulm, Baden-Wüttenberg, Germany, expands its existing recall for certain batch/lots of Deluxe Oak Smoked Scottish Louch/Loch Trout Fish and Lighthouse Bay Smoked Trout Fish Trimmings from the British marketplace to include additional food products sold under the Lidl brand.
The original recall was initiated due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination and consequential risks of Gram-positive bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
