Canada/Ottawa: Savaria Concord Lifts Inc., a Brampton, Ontario establishment and Garaventa (Canada) Ltd., a subsidiary of Savaria Corporation and a Surrey, British Columbia establishment, recall an estimated 4,383 units of Savaria branded and an estimated 1,774 units of Garaventa branded Residential Elevators from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected entrapment hazard with consequential risks of laceration, traumatic brain injury (“TBI” or “concussion”), bone fractures and/or central nervous system (“CNS”) injury, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
