US/Silver Spring: Moor Herbs, a Detroit, Michigan establishment, recalls all batch/lots of Moor Herbs Angel Infant Formula from the American marketplace due to reported meet specific nutrition and labeling requirements for infant formula. In addition, when the product was tested, the Iron, Sodium, and Potassium content were well over the maximum allowed, which could potentially lead to Iron overload and/or Electrolyte imbalances. In addition, the product did not have Vitamin D, and a Vitamin D deficiency can potentially lead to Rickets, a softening and weakening of bones, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
