US/Washington: The US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (“FSIS”), a statutory regulatory and food safety authority, issues a Public Health Warning against consuming certain batch/lots of Taylor Farms New England Inc. ready-to-eat (“RTE”) Freshly Made Meals with Chicken Breast Meat and Hannaford Freshly Made Meals with Chicken Breast Meat in the American marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and consequential undeclared Soy and Wheat, both known allergens, sources of dietary intolerance and possible triggers of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
