US/Washington: The US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (“FSIS”), a statutory regulatory and food safety authority warns against the consumption of various batch/lots of Ivar’s branded and Pike Place Fish Market branded ready-to-eat Meat Soup products from the American marketplace due to suspected preparation, packaging and/or storage under insanitary conditions and consequential risks of spoilage, bacterial an/or viral infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
