Supreme Seafood Inc., a Markham, Ontario establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Fresh Frozen Raw Vannamei White Shrimp IQF from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected 3-amino-2-oxazolidinone chemical contamination, a stable tissue-bound metabolite of Nitrofuran Furazolidone antibiotic with consequential risks of antibiotic resistance, food and/or drug interactions, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
