
This Update confirms the data provided in the original recall notification and provides additional information about two (2) deaths and several injuries now genitically confirmed to be caused by Burkholderia pseudomallei infection likely associated with the Aromatherapy Room Spray products and consequential risks of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications including Melioidosis, a disease that can cause Encephalomyelitis, Septic Shock, Acute Pyelonephritis, Septic Arthritis and/or Osteomyelitis, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-changing injury.
