Australia/Canberra: Adairs Retail Group Pty Ltd, a Scoresby, Victoria establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Panama Bedhead / Headboards due to suspected Formaldehyde contamination and consequential risk of pungent irritating odours with eye, nose and throat irritation, all serious health and safety hazards. In addition, the US Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) has classified Formaldehyde as a probable human Carcinogen (a Cancer causing agent) under conditions of unusually high or prolonged exposure.
