US/Washington: Crider Foods, a Stillmore, Georgia establishment, recalls an estimated 525,717 pounds of various Canned Beef with Gravy Products from the American marketplace due to suspected Lead contamination and consequential risks of developmental delay, learning difficulties, weight loss, abdominal pain, vomiting, seizures, hearing loss and other GI tract complications in children and hypertension (high blood pressure), joint and muscle pain, difficulties with memory or concentration, headache, abdominal pain, mood disorders, genetic and/or mutagenic complications in adult males and miscarriage, stillbirth or premature birth in pregnant females, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-changing injury.
