US/Washington, Canada/Ottawa & Mexico/Mexico City: LG Electronics USA Inc., an Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey recalls an estimated 56,700 LG Electronics branded 86-inch Smart TV and Stands (~52,000 in the US, ~1,800 in Canada and ~2,900 in Mexico) due to suspected tip-over and entrapment hazards and consequential risks of falls, laceration, concussion, bone fractures and/or central nervous system (“CNS”) injury, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
