US/Silver Spring: SunSprout Enterprises, a Fremont, Nebraska establishment, expands its existing recall for certain batch/lots of Raw Alfalfa Sprouts from the American marketplace to include additional batch/lots pf the product and additional sell-by dates.
The original recall was initiated due to suspected Salmonella contamination and consequential risks of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
