US/Silver Spring: Crown Prince, Inc., a City of Industry, California establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Crown Prince Natural Smoked Baby Clams in Olive Oil, Product of China from the American marketplace due to suspected Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (“PFAS”) contamination and consequential increased risks of cholesterol levels, high-blood pressure and pre-eclampsia in pregnant women, developmental effects, decreases in immune response, adverse changes in liver function, and increases in certain types of Cancers, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
