Canada/Ottawa: Carleton Mushroom, an Osgoode, Ontario establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Carleton branded, Metro Stores and PC Organics branded Sliced White Mushrooms from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination and consequential risks of Gram-positive bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-changing injury.
