US FlagUS/Washington: Boar’s Head Everroast Chicken Caesar Wrap Recall [US]Russ Davis Wholesale, Inc., a Pueblo, Colorado establishment, recalls an estimated 956 pounds of Boar’s Head branded Everroast Chicken Caesar Wrap Sandwiches due to suspected mislabeling and consequential undeclared Egg, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

Additional information:
The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following ready-to-eat Chicken Caesar Wrap Sandwiches were produced from November 12, 2018 through December 16, 2018 and are subject to this recall:

  • Boar’s Head branded Everroast Chicken Caesar Wrap Sandwiches, sold in 11.3-ounce plastic clamshell packages with sell-by dates ranging from 11/15/18 to 12/19/18.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the USDA, he product subject to recall bears establishment number “P45204B” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations in New Mexico. The problem was discovered on December 17, 2018 when the company notified the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (“FSIS”) inspection program personnel that the incorrect ingredient statement had been used for the final product.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Wrap Sandwiches products products and could be allergic to their Egg ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the distributor or wholesaler where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Sandwich Wraps, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
