Oak Manor Organic, Sunnyside Natural Market, Distribution Horizon Nature and Grainworks Inc. update their existing recall for certain batch/lots of Poppy Seeds from the Canadian marketplace to reflect new batch/lot information.
The original recall was initiated due to suspected Salmonella contamination and consequential risks of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
