Canada/Ottawa: Exclusive Candy & Novelty Ltd., a Mississauga, Ontario establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Twinkle Baker Décor branded and Icing Gel products from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and consequential improperly declared Milk, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious health and safety hazard requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-changing injury.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Frosting and Icing Gel products are subject to this recall:

• Twinkle Baker Décor branded Frosting Tubes – Baby Blue – Vanilla, packaged in 80 gram tubes with a batch/lot of 19115L, 19126L, 19176L, 19359L, 20056L, 20070L, 20085L, 20146L, 20177L, 20218L, 20181L, 20245L, 20255L or 20272L and a UPC of 0 60631 90671 3
• Twinkle Baker Décor branded Frosting Tubes – Green – Vanilla, packaged in 80 gram tubes with a batch/lot of 19227L, 19315L, 19359L or 20218L and a UPC of 0 60631 91338 4
• Twinkle Baker Décor branded Frosting Tubes – Pink – Vanilla, packaged in 80 gram tubes with a batch/lot of 19294L, 19315L, 19324L, 19359L, 20146L, 20177L or 20218L and a UPC of 0 60631 91336 0
• Twinkle Baker Décor branded Icing Gels – Gold, packaged in 25 gram tubes with a batch/lot of 20167L or 20218L and a UPC of 0 60631 80661 7
• Twinkle Baker Décor branded Icing Gels – Silver, packaged in 25 gram tubes with a batch/lot of 20167L or 20218L and a UPC of 0 60631 80651 8
• Twinkle Baker Décor branded Icing Gels – White, packaged in 25 gram tubes with a batch/lot of 19324L, 19359L or 20218L and a UPC of 0 60631 05941 9

==> No item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

These Frosting and Icing products were known to be marketed, distributed and sold in the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan although it is always possible these food products had wider distribution within the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

According to the CFIA, Exclusive Candy & Novelty has recalled certain batch/lots of Twinkle Baker Décor branded Frosting and Icing products from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and consequential improperly declared Milk. As a result of this reported defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Frosting and/or Icing products identified above.

Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Twinkle Baker Décor branded Frosting and/or Icing Gel products and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat Anaphylaxis.
