Canada/Ottawa: Global Vegetarian Foods Corp., a Richmond, British Columbia establishment, expands its existing recall for certain batch/lots of numerous Happy Veggie World branded Vege Chicken Breast and Vegefarm branded Vege Stewed Lamb Chunk products from the Canadian marketplace to include a larger suspected distribution area within Canada.
The original recall was initiated due to suspected mislabeling and consequential undeclared Egg, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious health and safety hazard requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-changing injury.
