US/Silver Spring: Mars Wrigley Confectionery US, LLC, a Hackettstown, New Jersey, establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Life Savers branded Gummies, Skittles branded Gummies and Starburst branded Gummies from the American marketplace due to suspected metal fragment contamination and consequential risks of choking, oral injury, internal ingestion, GI tract laceration damage, bowel obstruction and sepsis, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
