Canada/Ottawa: Lakeview Gluten Free Bakery, a Calgary Alberta establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Lakeview Gluten-Free Bakery branded Morning Glory Muffins from the Canadian marketplace due to mislabeling and consequential undeclared Egg, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious health and safety hazard requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Baked Goods are subject to this Quick Look recall:

• Lakeview Gluten-Free Bakery Morning Glory Muffins, sold in 350 gram packages with a date code of 2024AL30, 2024AL31 or 2024MA01 and a UPC of 057882 400039

These Baked Goods were known to be marketed, distributed and sold in the Canadian province of Alberta, although it is always possible these food products had wider distribution within the country including over the Web. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Lakeview Gluten-Free Bakery Morning Glory Muffins and could be allergic to their Egg ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat Anaphylaxis.
