Canada/Ottawa: Foodfest International 2000 Inc., a Concord, Ontario establishment, updates its existing recalls for all current batch/lots up to and including April 29, 2022 of Elite branded Chocolate products from the Canadian marketplace to include additional product information including UPCs.
The original recall was due to suspected Salmonella contamination and consequential risks of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
