Additional information:
Among the ninety-three (93) recalls the NHTSA announced in March came news of the following notification:

Logo - Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC ("Land Rover")Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (“Land Rover”), a Mahwah, New Jersey establishment and a subsidiary of Tata Motors of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, has recalled an estimated 2,842 model year certain 2021-2024 Jaguar E-Pace Sport Utility Vehicles (“SUVs”) marketed, sold and delivered in the United States.

Recall Category: Service Brakes, Hydraulic – Brake Pad Wear Warning Light failure in apparent contravention of US FMVSS 135

NHTSA Safety Notification 24V201000 reports the vehicles’ Brake Pad Wear Warning Lights may not appear on the Instrument Cluster as intended, failing to warn the driver that the Brake Pads are worn out. As such, these Jaguar vehicles reportedly fail to comply with the requirements of US Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 135, “Light Vehicle Brake Systems”.

According to the NHTSA, driving with worn Brake Pads can reduce braking ability, increasing the risk of a crash, motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) or other impact event with consequential serious injury and/or life-changing results.
