A formal recall was not requested because the Pork products identified in this notification are no longer available for purchase within the retail channel.

Logo - United States Department of Agriculture ("USDA")According to the USDA, its Food Safety and Inspection Service (“FSIS”) has warned against the consumption of certain Dim Sum Factory Raw, Frozen Pork Dumpling products from the American marketplace that were reportedly produced without the benefit of federal inspection. As a direct result of this suspected defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Pork products identified above.

In this case, the recalled Pork products bear establishment number “EST. 1656” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

This recall was initiated after routine FSIS surveillance activities determined that the physical location at which the Pork Wonton products were being produced were not on the official premises of the establishment and, therefore, were not inspected. As a result of not receiving inspection, FSIS is concerned these Dumpling products may not be safe for human consumption.
