Antrim establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Deluxe Irish Carved Peppered Turkey Breast Meat from the British marketplace due to suspected incorrect use-by date and consequential risks of spoilage, bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Turkey Meat products are subject to recall:

  • Deluxe Irish Carved Peppered Turkey Breast Meat, sold in 130 gram packages with a stated use-by date of 25 June 2024

==> No barcodes, EANs, item numbers, manufacturing date codes, production dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Logo - UK Food Standards Agency ("FSA")According to the UK FSA, Lidl Northern Ireland has recalled certain batch/lots of Deluxe Irish Carved Peppered Turkey Breast Meat from the British marketplace due to suspected incorrect use-by date and consequential risks of spoilage. As a direct result of this suspected defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Poultry products identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Deluxe Irish Carved Peppered Turkey Breast Meat products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Turkey Meat products to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
