US/Bethesda & Canada/Ottawa: Shimano North America Bicycle Inc., an Irvine, California establishment recalls an estimated total 760,000 Shimano branded 11-Speed Bonded Hollowtech II Road Bicycle Cranksets (approximately 680,000 in the US and approximately 80,000 in Canada) from the American and Canadian marketplaces due to reported component separation and/or detachment and consequential risks of falls, laceration, concussion, bone fractures and/or central nervous system (“CNS”) injury, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls certain model year 2021 and 2022 Volkswagen ID.4 EV Electric Sport Utility Vehicles (“SUVs”) marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

On certain Volkswagen ID.4 SUVs, water could leak into the Door Handle(s). If this defect occurs, the Door(s) could open unexpectedly while driving at speeds below 15 km/h. This defect could cause a clicking noise that sounds as if the Door is being locked or unlocked.
