These handheld Flashlights were known to have been marketed, distributed and sold in all Canadian provinces, although it is always possible these assistive products had wider distribution outside the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

According to Health Canada, the Flashlights can reportedly be switched on inadvertently in their Unlock Mode. As a consequence, the Flashlights can overheat while stored in the holster or a consumer’s pocket, posing a burn hazard to people who utilize the product in a reasonable manner expected with its intended design and anticipated use.

As of April 19, 2022, Olight had received six (6) reports of incidents, with no reports of injuries in Canada. Considering the time delay between the reports of these incidents and the official recall, however, there may be additional incidents of overheating by this time.
