Canada/Ottawa: Krazy Dan’s Pickled Products, a Lunenburg, Ontario establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Krazy Dan’s branded Pickled Weiners and Mild Sauce due to undeclared Mustard, Soy, Sulphites (Sulfites) and Wheat, all known allergens, sources of dietary intolerance and possible triggers of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Pickled Weiners are subject to this recall:

• Krazy Dan’s branded Pickled Wieners – Mild, sold in 400 ml jars; affected batch/lots: all codes where Mustard and Soy are not declared on the label with a UPC of 6 27843 80632 5
• Krazy Dan’s branded Pickled Wieners – Medium, sold in 1 kilogram jars; affected batch/lots: all codes where Soy and Wheat are not declared on the label with a UPC of 6 27843 80628 8
• Krazy Dan’s branded Pickled Wieners – Mild, sold in 1 kilogram jars; affected batch/lots: all codes where Mustard, Soy and Wheat are not declared on the label with a UPC of 6 27843 77521 8
• Krazy Dan’s branded Pickled Wieners – Hot, sold in 1 kilogram jars; affected batch/lots: all codes where Soy and Wheat are not declared on the label with a UPC of 6 27843 80629 5
• Krazy Dan’s branded Pickled Wieners – Newfoundland Style, sold in 1 kilogram jars; affected batch/lots: all codes where Mustard, Soy, Sulphites and Wheat are not declared on the label 6 27843 80636 3
• Krazy Dan’s branded Pickled Wieners – Wicked, sold in 1 kilogram packages; affected batch/lots: all codes where Soy and Wheat are not declared on the label with a UPC of 6 27843 80630 1

According to the CFIA, Krazy Dan’s Pickled Products has recalled the above-identified batch/lots of Krazy Dan’s branded Pickled Weiners due to undeclared Mustard, Soy, Sulphites (Sulfites) and Wheat.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Krazy Dan’s branded Pickled Wieners and could be allergic to their Mustard, Soy, Sulphite (Sulfite) and/or Wheat ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
