US FlagUS/Washington: Kingsland Food Processing Corp., a Maspeth, New York establishment, recalls undetermined amount of various Frozen Meat and Poultry products from the American marketplace that were reportedly produced without the benefit of federal inspection with consequential risks of undeclared allergens, bacterial and/or viral infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

Additional information:
The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Frozen Meat and Poultry products were produced on various dates ranging from November 1, 2022, through July 20, 2023 with best-before dates ranging from 8/01/2023 (i.e., August 1, 2023) through 4/20/2024 (i.e., April 20, 2024) and are subject to this recall (in alphabetical order):

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

These Kingsland Food Processing Frozen Meat and Poultry products were known to have been marketed, sold and distributed directly to wholesale customers in the US states of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania as well as to wholesale customers in California, Florida and Texas through distributors, although it is always possible these food products had wider distribution outside the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

Logo - United States Department of Agriculture ("USDA")According to the USDA, Kingsland Food Processing Corp. has recalled an undetermined amount of various Frozen Meat and Poultry products from the American marketplace that were reportedly produced without the benefit of federal inspection. As a direct result of this suspected defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Meat and Poultry products identified above.

In this case, the Meat and Poultry products subject to recall bear an establishment number of “EST. 48204” or “EST. P-48204” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

This recall was initiated after FSIS inspection personnel observed various Meat and Poultry products being produced in rooms that are not within the official premises of the establishment and, therefore, were not inspected, as required.

The USDA’s FSIS is concerned that some product may in your freezers or chillers. People who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Kingsland Food Processing Corp frozen Meat and Poultry products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat bacterial and/or viral poisonings.
