The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Cut Corn is subject to this recall:

According to the FDA, the recall was the result of a routine sampling program by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture that revealed the finished Cut Corn sampled from a retail store contained the Listeria bacteria. Cambridge Farms, LLC has, therefore, included all Cut Corn Products that may have been produced using the same lot of cut corn. has ceased the production and distribution of the product and continues their investigation as to what caused the problem.

The above products were distributed in the following US states: NC, SC, TN, AL, GA, VA, NY, CT, NJ, PA, OH, WV, KY, MD and FL. These products are sold through retail supermarkets

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure pets and small children can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Cut Corn, please do not consume it directly nor use it as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Corn to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
