US/Silver Spring: GHGA, LLC, a Conley, Georgia establishment, expands its existing recall for certain batch/lots of Kroger, Sprouts Farmers Market and Trader Joe’s branded Fruit Trays, Cups and other fresh-cut Fruit products containing recalled Cantaloupe from the American marketplace to include additional distribution information. No additional products have been added to this recall.
The original recall was due to suspected Salmonella contamination and consequential risks of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
