US/Silver Spring: Life Raft Treats, a Charleston, South Carolina establishment, expands its existing recall for certain batch/lots of Not Fried Chicken and Life Is Peachy flavored Ice Cream from the American marketplace to include additional best-by dates.

The original recall was due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination and consequential risks of Gram-positive bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
