US FlagUS/Bethesda: Emporia Energy Corp., a Littleton, Colorado establishment, recalls an estimated 80,000 Emporia Smart Electrical Plugs from the American marketplace due to suspected inadequate grounding and possible electric shock and consequential risks of burns, scalds, smoke inhalation, respiratory failure, cardiac system collapse and/or property damage, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

On certain vehicles, the Brake Reservoir Fluid Cap may not vent properly. If this defect occurs, the Braking System could leak Brake Fluid. As a result, there could be a partial or total loss of braking.
