US/Washington: LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc., a Holland, Michigan establishment and formerly LG Chem Michigan Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of LG Energy Solution, Ltd., in turn a wholly-owned subsidiary of LG Chem Ltd., recalls an estimated 10,000 LG Chem “RESU10H” Lithium-Ion Residential Energy Storage System Batteries from the American marketplace due to suspected overheat failure and consequential risks of burns, scalds, smoke inhalation and/or respiratory failure, cardiac system collapse and/or property damage, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-changing injury.
