US FlagUS/Silver Spring: The Quaker Oats Company, a Chicago, Illinois establishment and subsidiary of PepsiCo of Purchase, New York, updates its earlier recallds for certain batch/lots of various Quaker branded Granola Bars and Granola Cereals from the American marketplace to include additional products.

The original recall and its later update were initiated due to suspected Salmonella contamination and consequential risks of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
