Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls an estimated 249,132 model year 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 Chevrolet Silverado; 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 Chevrolet Silverado HD; 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 GMC Sierra; 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023; and 2024 GMC Sierra HD Pickup Trucks marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

On certain GM vehicles, water could leak into the Exterior Tailgate Switch. If this defect occurs, the Tailgate could unlatch and open unexpectedly while parked.

Vehicle Recall: Buick Enclave, Chev. Traverse & GMC Acadia

On certain vehicles, the Airbag may not properly inflate and fragments could be propelled toward vehicle occupants during a crash, motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) or other impact events with consequential serious injury and/or life-changing results, including death.

Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls certain model year 2024 Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban & Tahoe and GMC Yukon XL Sport Utility Vehicles (“SUVs”) marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

On the affected Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC vehicles, a Bolt in the Rear Suspension Control Arms may not have been manufactured correctly. As a result, the Bolt could break. According to Transport Canada, a sudden change in Rear Wheel alignment can lead to a loss of vehicle stability.

On certain vehicles, the the automatic headlamps may not turn on soon enough as it becomes dark outside. If this defect occurs, Headlamps that don’t turn on as it becomes dark outside could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash, motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) or other impact event with consequential serious injury and/or life-changing results.
