US/Silver Spring: Pacific Trellis Fruit, LLC, doing business as Dulcinea, a Los Angeles, California establishment, recalls 4,872 cases of Malichita branded Whole Cantaloupe Fruit from the American marketplace due to suspected Salmonella contamination and consequential risks of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
