US FlagUS/Washington: Philips Personal Health, a division of Philips North America, a Stamford, Connecticut establishment and a subsidiary of Philips Consumer Lifestyle BV, of The Netherlands, recalls an estimated 12,850 Philips Avent Digital Video Baby Monitors from the American marketplace due to suspected overheating with consequential risks of fire, burns, scalds, smoke inhalation, respiratory failure and/or cardiac system collapse, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
