Canada FlagCanada/Ottawa: Loblaw Companies Ltd., a Brampton, Ontario establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of unbranded Frozen Tilapia Fish products from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected 3-amino-2-oxazolidinone chemical contamination, a stable tissue-bound metabolite of Nitrofuran Furazolidone antibiotic, with consequential risks of antibiotic resistance, poisoning, food and/or drug interactions and Cancers as well as other severe illnesses and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
