Canada/Ottawa:Locally Baked Outlet Ltd., a Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Locally Baked Outlet branded Keto Salted Caramel Cupcakes from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and consequential undeclared Peanuts, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious health and safety hazard requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Baked Goods are subject to this recall:

  • Locally Baked Outlet branded Keto Salted Caramel Cupcakes, sold in packages of three (3) cupcakes with a best-before date code of Nov 10/24 for frozen cupcakes and a best-before date of July 15/24 for cupcakes store under “Refridgeration” with a UPC of 0 33204 92117 8

==> No item numbers, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

These Locally Baked Outlet branded Keto Salted Caramel Cupcakes were known to be marketed, distributed and sold in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia although it is always possible these food products had wider distribution within the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

Logo - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency ("CFIA")According to the CFIA, Locally Baked Outlet has recalled certain batch/lots of Locally Baked Outlet branded Keto Salted Caramel Cupcakes from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and consequential undeclared Peanuts. As a result of this reported defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Baked Goods identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Locally Baked Outlet branded Keto Salted Caramel Cupcakes and could be allergic to their Peanut ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
