Food Recall: Quaker Granola Bars & Granola Cereals

US/Silver Spring: The Quaker Oats Company, a Chicago, Illinois establishment and subsidiary of PepsiCo of Purchase, New York, updates its earlier recallds for certain batch/lots of various Quaker branded Granola Bars and Granola Cereals from the American marketplace to include additional products.

The original recall and its later update were initiated due to suspected Salmonella contamination and consequential risks of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls an estimated 16,070 model year 2022, 2023 and 2024 Ford Maverick Pickup Trucks marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

On certain Ford Maverick Pickup Trucks, the Turn Signal Telltale may flash at the same speed when a Turn Signal Bulb fails. As a result, vehicle operator may not notice when a Turn Signal Bulb is not working.

UK/London: Lidl Great Britain Limited (“Lidl GB”), a London, England establishment and subsidiary of Lidl of Stiftung & Co KG of Neckarsulm, Baden-Wüttenberg, Germany, recalls all current batch/lots of Duc De Coeur branded Salted Caramel & Chocolate Tartlets due to suspected incomplete and/or incorrect labeling and consequential improperly declared Soya (Soy), a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
