US/Silver Spring: Vinyard Fruit and Vegetable Company, an Oklahoma City, Oklahoma establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Vinyard and Fresh branded Cut Cubed Cantaloupe and Fruit Mix products containing Cut Cubed Cantaloupe from the American marketplace due to suspected Salmonella contamination and consequential risks of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
