US FlagUS/Silver Spring: David Oppenheimer and Company I LLC, a Seattle, Washington establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Zespri branded Organic Green Kiwifruit from the American marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination and consequential risks of Gram-positive bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

Vehicle Recall: Mercedes-Benz S-Class & Maybach Sedans

Canada FlagCanada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety safety authority, recalls certain model year 2022 Mercedes-Benz Maybach S-Class and S-Class Sedans marketed, sold and delivered in Canada due to reported electrical ground connection in the trunk failure.

If this defect occurs, the vehicle’s electrical ground connection could loosen and overheat. A loose connection could also cause the Electronic Stability Control (“ESP”) system not to work correctly. In addition, a loose or overheated ground connection could pose consequential risks of fire, burns, scalds, smoke inhalation, respiratory failure and/or cardiac system collapse. Further, an Electronic Stability Control System that doesn’t work properly could increase the risk of a crash.

Logo - Mercedes-Benz==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat lacerations, concussions, bone fractures, amputation, central nervous system (“CNS”) damage and/or internal injuries.

==> No VINs, item numbers, manufacturing date codes, production dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Proposed Remedy:
Mercedes-Benz will notify owners of the recalled model year 2023 Mercedes-Benz Maybach S-Class and S-Class Sedans by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to an Authorized Dealer to inspect the vehicle’s electrical ground connection in the Trunk and tighten it as necessary.
