US FlagUS/Washington: The US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (“FSIS”), a statutory regulatory and food safety authority, issues a Public Health Alert for certain batch/lots of USDA Choice Black Angus Beef from ALDI, Beef for Carne Picada Raw Beef due to reported plastic fragment contamination and consequential risks of risks of choking, oral injury, internal ingestion, GI tract laceration damage, bowel obstruction and sepsis, all serious health and safety hazards, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

Canada FlagCanada/Ottawa: Sun Hing Trading Ltd., a Richmond, British Columbia establishment and subsidiary of the Hong Kong-based Sun Hing Holdings Limited, recalls certain batch/lots of Fish Maw Dried Swim Bladder from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and consequential undeclared Sulphites (Sulfites), a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious health and safety hazard requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
