Among the eighty-three (83) recalls the NHTSA announced in March comes news of the following:

Thor Motor Coach (“TMC”), an Elkhart, Indiana establishment has recalled an estimated 1,969 model year 2015-2023 Thor Palazzo Recreational Vehicles (“RVs”) marketed, sold and delivered in the United States.

Recall Category: Equipment – Front Lower Cap Brackets may detach

NHTSA Safety Notification 23V113000 reports the Front Lower Cap Brackets that support the Front Fiberglass Panel may become loose and detach from the vehicle while in motion.

According to the NHTSA, a detached Bracket can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash, motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) or other impact event with consequential serious injury and/or life-changing results.

Proposed Remedy:
The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters were mailed March 15, 2023. Owners may contact TMC Customer Service toll-free at 1-877-855-2867 during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) for more information. TMC’s designation for this recall is RC000291.
