Canada/Ottawa: Ali-Pro Distributions, a Le Gardeur, Quebec establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Uncooked Crispy Chicken Fritters from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected Salmonella contamination and consequential risk of Gram-positive bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health hazards.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Chicken Fritter products are subject to this recall:

  • Unbranded Uncooked Crispy Chicken Fritters prepared for Ali-Pro distributions, sold in 250 gram vacuum-packages with batch/lots of 190409, 190611, 190612, 190619, 190910, 190924, 191009, 191108, 191203, 200106 or 200129

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Chicken Fritter products can be found on the Web site above.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CFIA, Ali-Pro Distributions has recalled certain batch/lots of Uncooked Crispy Chicken Fritters from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected Salmonella contamination. You should neither serve nor consume the recalled Chicken products identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Ali-Pro Distributions Uncooked Crispy Chicken Fritters, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
