Cheetos Crunchy Snack Recall [UK]

UK/Basildon: 3D Trading recalls certain batch/lots of Cheetos Crunchy Snacks due to undeclared milk, a known allergen and source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention. The UK Chartered Trading Standards Institute (“CTSI”) reports the following Snack Foods are subject to this recall:

• Cheetos Cheddar Jalapeno Crunchy Cheese Flavoured Snacks, sold in 56.7 gram packages; batch number: CHSSS-4179H/7E LAP 30043652; durability marking: ‘Guaranteed Fresh Until May 31’
• Cheetos Crunchy Cheese Flavoured Snacks, sold in 56.7 gram packages; batch numbers: 364201307 and 564107807; durability marking: 5 April 2017 and 31 May 2017
• Cheetos Crunchy Canisters, sold in 120.5 gram packages; batch numbers: 57330579920 and 47320779944; durability marking: 6 September 2016 and 20 September 2016
• Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Canisters, sold in 120.5 gram packages; batch numbers: 57333529924 and 47320639986; durability marking: 28 June 2016 and 6 September 2016

According to the CTSI, the above Snack Foods do not list milk in the correct and prescribed form within their respective ingredients lists, making them a possible health risk for those with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Cheetos Crunchy Snacks and could be allergic to their milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
