Vehicle Recall: Chrysler Pacifica & Grand Caravan Minivans

Canada/Ottawa: Transport Canada, an Ottawa, Ontario regulatory and safety authority, recalls an estimated 1,060 model year 2024 Chrysler Pacifica and Chrysler Grand Caravan Minivans marketed, sold and delivered in Canada.

On certain Chrysler Minivans, a Software problem could cause the Traction Control System to turn off when the vehicle’s Cruise Control is activated.

Transport Canada reports that a Traction Control System that doesn’t work correctly could increase the risk of crash, motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) or other impact event with consequential serious injury and/or life-changing results.

If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat lacerations, concussions, bone fractures, amputation, central nervous system (“CNS”) damage and/or internal injuries.

==> No VINs, item numbers, manufacturing date codes, production dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Proposed Remedy:
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to an Authorized Dealership to update your vehicle’s Traction Control System Software.
