Among the sixty-four (64) recalls the NHTSA announced in April came news of the following notification:

Logo - Aston Martin The Americas (“Aston Martin”)Aston Martin The Americas (“Aston Martin”), a New York, New York establishment, a subsidiary of Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings PLC of Gaydon, Warwickshire, England, has recalled an estimated 2,902 model year 2021-2024 Aston Martin DBX Sport Utility Vehicles (“SUVs”) marketed, sold and delivered in the United States.

Recall Category: Electrical System – Unsecured Brake Lines may become damaged

NHTSA Safety Notification 24V255000 reports Electrical Cables in the Battery Fuse Box may be loose. If this defect occurs, it can result in an Engine stall, or a loss of Headlights and/or Power Steering.

According to the NHTSA, an Engine stall or loss of Headlights and/or Power Steering can increase the risk of a crash, motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) or other impact event with consequential serious injury and/or life-changing results.

Authorized Aston Martin Dealers will inspect the Fuses and Cables for damage and replace them as necessary. In addition, the Fasteners will be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed April 22, 2024.
