Canada/Ottawa: Victoria Community Food Hub Society, a Victoria, British Columbia establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of South Island branded Pesto from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected Clostridium botulinum contamination and consequential risks of Gram-positive bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
